Fundraising for Cleveland Mountain Rescue Team
£130
raised of £100 target
Thank you, 8 May 2022
We are volunteers on call 24/7 365days a yr to help missing/injured people in our area

Story

The Team was established in 1965 and normally have around 45 – 50 Search and Rescue Team Members (including probationers) who are on call 24-hours a day every day of the year. We also have approximately 20 Support Team members assisting all aspects of the team but especially fundraising and acting as casualties. We are all volunteers; we have no paid staff and our services are offered free to anyone who needs them. We are reliant on the generosity of local people and groups to cover the £42,000 it costs to run the Team every year.
