Story

As part of Informa’s fundraising campaign for Save the Children, a team of 10 novice sailors will be taking on the Atlantic this November; sailing 2,700 nautical miles over 14 days in a 70ft yacht from Gran Canaria to St Lucia.

The crew will encounter high seas, a gruelling shift pattern and will be limited to one shower every three days. It will be a test of physical endurance, emotional strength, resilience and team work.

The brave crew is taking on this challenge to raise money for Save the Children – supporting the charity in their mission to save the lives of 4 million children by the end of 2015. Every penny raised goes to Save the Children.

I am in the final 12 and we are all doing as much as we possibly can to raise money for this fantastic cause. Please help me support the incredible team, and the cause, by donating today.

Thank you!
