On Oct 10th 2010 we all successfully completed the Great Eastern Run (half marathon) to raise funds for Home-Start South West Lincolnshire!

Thank you to everyone who kindly sponsored us, - the funds raised will help support many vulnerable children and families.

As a national charity Home-Start supports thousands of parents who are struggling to cope through a network of trained parent volunteers.

The families they work with require support for many reasons including post-natal illness, disability, bereavement, the illness of a parent or child, or social isolation. Parents supporting other parents - to help build a family's confidence and ability to cope.

As a Health Visitng team caring for children and families, we see first hand what a life-line this support can be and the immense benefits that are gained in terms of quality of life.
