Toni's Story:

One of our very own BaA girls has had direct experience of The Royal Marsden. This is her story:

In March of 2020, I was diagnosed with lymphoma. My family and I were afraid and confused; we weren’t sure what would happen to me.  
Shortly after my diagnosis, I was out under the care of The Royal Marsden and I felt a sense of hope that everything would be okay. With the help of amazing nurses and doctors, extraordinary treatment plans and medicine along with very comfortable rooms, I can say that The Royal Marsden played a huge part in my recovery.
I’m now cancer-free and back to doing everything I was afraid of missing out on. A massive thank you to all the staff at The Royal Marsden, I wouldn’t be where I am without the wonderful work they do
