As you may know a big part of my heart lives in South Africa. After working at TLC children's home for 6 months in 2010, I have been hugely touched and changed by the love that Thea Jarvis and her family show towards orphans and abandoned babies. I will be returning to TLC with my boyfriend, Sam, for a few short days at Christmas and have been planning to raise some money to help them out with the ongoing cost of caring for so many babies. This week I was told of the tragic news that Kieran Jarvis, adopted by Thea along with his twin brother, had passed away suddenly aged just 14. Thea would love to rebuild their existing memorial garden for Kieran and all of the other children who have lost their lives over the years, as the current garden is in a state of disrepair. We are hoping to raise enough money to support this venture, as well as some to support day to day costs such as milk formula, nappies and food.
