Story
SCCCC has been supporting older people in Sheffield since 1966. They provide FREE services for the vulnerable and isolated aged over 65. Combating isolation and loneliness is their main mission. They have an army of volunteers who spare an hour a week to visit people in their community. SCCCC also provides telephone support and a traditional pen pal scheme to keep isolated older people connected. The team on the Hospital to Home scheme work closely with Sheffield Teaching hospitals to provide support to older people whilst in hospital, on discharge and in their own homes.
Help us continue to support our older generations across Sheffield.
