Story
Ian and I will be undertaking the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge on Saturday 26 of April, to raise funds for the Tommy Salisbury Choroideremia fund.
This is a condition which is close to our hearts as our eldest son, Rowan, 7, has the condition. Myles, 3, may also be diagnosed when he is older, we don’t know yet.
Choroideremia is a rare genetic degenerative eye condition affecting males. It causes the light detecting part of the eye to gradually fail, initially resulting in loss of night vision, and eventually leading to blindness. There’s currently some amazing gene therapy work being undertaken to find a treatment for the condition, and we want to help in anyway we can, to find a treatment for the condition for Rowan and other sufferers.
Our ultimate hope is Rowan will require treatment rather than losing his vision.
So Ian and I (and a few friends and colleagues) will be walking the gruelling, muddy, 26 miles, up hill and down dale in the hope that you will sponsor us so we can help the research continue.

Thank you in advance
