Story
WE'VE DONE IT!!! It was THE hardest thing I have ever undertaken in my whole life. But I'm so proud Mum and I did it. Dad would have absolutely loved the views. What an incredible experience.
My fundraising page will remain open until 1st Jan 2023. Please, if you can, consider sponsoring me. Hospiscare really needs the funding.

**COVID update: The trek has now been postponed to November 2022 - this will be 2 years later than originally planned!!**
Mum (Nicola McDonald) and I are taking part in this challenging trek because we want to support the incredible work done by Hospiscare. Together we have raised just over £7,000 for this vital charity.
Hospiscare is a charity very close to our hearts as we sadly lost Ian, my Dad and Mum’s husband of 40 years, to cancer just before Christmas 2017. Hospiscare helped us and the family through the final stages of Ian’s life and were an incredible support in the weeks and months after his passing.
As a family, we have always been keen walkers. I feel that taking part in this trek will be a particularly meaningful way to raise money for Hospiscare, and I know that Dad will be with us every step of the way. I am really excited and a bit anxious about taking part in this epic expedition!
I’ll be 42 and Mum will be 64 years old when we embark upon this once in a lifetime challenge together.
Please help us help Hospiscare by giving whatever you can. The more people that know about Hospiscare, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing our pages with your friends and family. Thank you in advance for your generosity, it really does means a lot!
