Whilst most have been hibernating through the cold winter I've been pounding the parks in an attempt to get fit enough for the Brighton marathon on the 14th April.  It's my first (& very likely my last!) marathon and I'm doing it in memory of a family friend who died of a brain tumour in his early twenties.  It's a charity which my family have been heavily involved with and I'm looking forward to making my own contribution with this run.
