Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On July 27th I plan to walk up Beinn Mhor on South Uist a hill of 720m at 8.25 miles for my 3 year anniversary of my 1st cardiac arrest.        Over the past 2 years I have been fundraising to place 5 Aeds onto south Uist, this year my aim is to get another 4 which will cover the main routes of the island. Lucky2Bhere are a local charity based on Skye that provide AEDs and training to communities throughout Scotland in emergency life support.

My 1st cardiac arrest happened while I was at work in the coop Daliburgh, my life was saved when my 2 hero's a colleague and a customer gave me CPR and then an AED was used. This is why I am now fundraising to have AEDs placed around the island as to the nearest cardiology hospital you have to be flown away as I did.
