Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I moved in to the hospital with Sebby, leaving my other two sons, Toby (4) and Charlie (2) and husband at home.
The treatment was grueling and long, and our family was separated and apart.
Throughout his treatment, we stayed positive, and Sebby, despite various set backs and infections, remained the delightful child he had always been.
Unfortunately, our beautiful son Sebastian tragically lost his battle with leukaemia in September 2014. He was only 9 months old. We watched our perfect boy deteriorate, and he passed away quietly at home, surrounded by his family and love. There is a constant gap in our family, and I feel so sad for the things he will never experience.
Sebastian. Son. Brother. Grandchild. Nephew. Cousin. Our beautiful boy, and our inspiration.
As a team of four, we are entering Edinburgh Marathon 2018 relay race to raise funds for Bloodwise. To support their research into blood cancers. The team will complete the 26 mile race. The team consists of myself (Sebby's Mum), Grace Lloyd (Sebby's Granny), Karen Lloyd (Sebby's Auntie) and Jo Tucker (family friend).
