Story
Sarah's brother Andrew was a sufferer of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. He was honestly the most strongest, bravest and most humble man in the World. He was and still is her drive & inspiration for everything.
On the 5th January this year we got the worst news. It was the day we never ever, ever wanted to face. Andrew had been rushed into hospital. A horrible infection had taken over him so suddenly and before anyone could even do anything he was gone. Andrew sadly passed away age 25. Our World had shattered into a million pieces and we are still heartbroken.
Running the London Marathon has always been a dream that we have shared. After Sarah took part in a Charity Skydive for Muscular Dystrophy and raised an overwhelming amount of £2400 and we just didn't want that to be the end of the fundraising so we signed ourselves up for the next fundraising challenge. We are absolutely over the moon and extremely proud to be running it together and sharing the fundraising experience for a cause so close to our hearts.
For those who don't know Muscular Dystrophy UK is the charity for 70,000 people living with muscle-wasting conditions. They are making a difference today, providing vital information and support to help people live as independently as possible. They are making a difference for tomorrow, accelerating progress in research and driving the campaign for access to emerging treatments.
Our loss of Andrew is a reminder of how cruel Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy is and how it unnecessarily takes lads far too early. The fight must go on to put an end to Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy! So this is all for Andrew! For all his amazing friends also living with Duchennes! And all the other amazing lads out there living with Duchennes and their families!!

What makes someone a legend what they do while they are here or how they are remembered when they are gone. Everyday, Andrew inspired us and he still continues to do so in many ways. Our Hero.
