Story
In February 2013, I'm off to Ecuador as a volunteer for Lattitude Global Volunteering. They do a great job in organising volunteers to travel all over the world and help out where it is needed.
Whilst I'm there I will be taking part in 2 placements - one being teaching in schools, and the other being helping with the street children, and those who are less fortunate than others. I will be living with an Ecuadorian family, and I am looking forward to learning more about the South American cultures, as well as being as helpful and useful as I can.
In order to raise the funds needed for my volunteerwork and all that is involved, I am organising several events, from dinners and drinks, to attending car boot sales, and selling cakes.
I am keeping people updated on here, but also have created a blog on my fundraising attempts - take a look at www.sjturnerblog.wordpress.com
I would be incredibly grateful if you could spare anything in order to help me, as Tescos say - Every Little Helps!
Thankyou,
