Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In the three months since Dad's diagnosis, the only time he really felt himself was when he attend the day centre at the Heart of Kent Hospice. They listened to him and ensured he had all the relevant equipment at home to make his life easier. Sadly for him, he was unable to utilise this equipment as he spent most of that time in Maidstone Hospital.
A nurse from the Heart of Kent Hospice was also with us when Dad passed away, aged 75 years old. She supported and comforted us through Dad's last moments and this is something that we will always remember. He went very peacefully.
The Heart of Kent Hospice needs funds to provide other families with this service and any donations would be greatly received, however small.

The Mall Shopping Centre
in Maidstone is giving away a cash treasure chest of £5,000 to share out
to charities and good causes in the community. They are asking for
locals to get involved to nominate their favourite charity and the
£5,000 will be split between 10 charities. Can you help the Heart of Kent Hospice be one of
those charities that will benefit from this cash treasure chest?
All you need to do is nominate The Heart of Kent Hospice as your
favourite charity to suzie.brindle@themall.co.uk letting her know about
all the good work they do, thanks!
