Story

Izzy's Busy is a local charity that is close to my heart and the Chorley Panthers Rugby League Family. Izzy's Busy is a small charity that has one purpose... this purpose is to educate and raise the awareness of people young and old about children with Celebral Palsy.

The other charity I’d like to support is the Steve Prescott Foundation which is a charity that raises money for The Christie and Try Assist, in memory of the rugby league legend Steve Prescott, who died of Pseudomyxoma Peritonei a rare form of Cancer in November 2013 after 7 years of fighting and raising the awareness of this horrific disease. This happened at a time that was very upsetting to our family having just suddenly lost an important member of our family due to lung cancer.

About the charity

The Steve Prescott Foundation was set up by a totally inspirational man Steve Prescott MBE. In 2006 he was diagnosed with Pseudomyxoma Peritonei a terminal cancer & sought out to raise funds for The Christie Hospital and the Rugby League Benevolent Fund. The SPF changes the lives of so many people.
