Alzheimers is a horrible disease which slowly robs you of a person long before they pass away.  It changes personalities and gradually erases the memories and recognition which bind you together.  My mother was diagnosed last year and is slowly losing the battle.  The Society is working hard to find ways to halt the progress of the disease for those already struck down and to try and prevent it taking hold of new victims.  I am hopelessley unfit and will only be doing the shorter walk but want to do my bit to help.  Please support my efforts.
