Story
As many of us know, cancer cruelly touched our family this year and led to many difficult questions from our children, frank conversations no one wants to have and a grief no one wants their children to feel. We are so proud of how they have dealt with what life has thrown at them. Molly wanted to be able to do something. She loves her long hair and when we explained that some people lose their hair when they have cancer treatment and she could donate hers she was on a mission to grow it as close to her bottom as she could so she could donate as much as she could!
“I want to donate my hair to the Princess Trust so that they can make a wig for a girl who doesn’t have hair because of cancer treatment.”
Pops may have looked silly in a wig made of Molly hair but Molly wants to make another little girl smile.
It would be great if we could send the hair off with some money towards making the wig, so if you have any sponsorship budget left please consider supporting her in this worthwhile cause.
She is booked in the Saturday and if she has enough she is determined to go for it! If not she will have a trim to keep it healthy and complete her mission next time.
When a child loses their hair to cancer or another condition, we'll be there with a free, real hair wig to help restore their confidence and identity. We won't stop until the research that we fund ends childhood cancer forever. Promise. Please visit us at www.littleprincesses.org.uk to find out how you can help us give young people back what cancer takes away. The Trust relies solely on the efforts of enthusiastic community fundraisers. We receive no formal funding. Please help to raise money for us so that we can help more families.
