Story
Hello friends
My son Ian and I would like to ask you to help us achieve our charity challenge for 2019.
We have decided to abseil from Brighton’s i360. If you say it quickly 450 feet doesn’t sound too bad but I’m sure it looks a long way down from the top with people looking like ants milling around.
We are supporting a charity called Happy Paws Puppy Rescue who are based in Eastbourne, England.
Happy Paws rescues mainly Golden Retriever dogs from the streets of countries such as Cyprus, Turkey, Romania. These dogs are usually starving, have been abused, shot and abandoned to whatever fate deals them.
The dogs are nursed back to health both physically and
mentally and loving forever home found for them in England.
We already have one dog who is from Cyprus who came as a bag of bones but has grown to be a valued member of society and works as a care therapy dog in schools and doctor’s surgeries.
By the time of this challenge we should have another dog rescued from Turkey.
This is a photo of Quita from malnourished bag of bones to the happy and healthy dog she is today.
