I am passionate about the amazing palliative care Prospect Hospice provides to the people in it's community, including my Dad and my family in the last year of his life. I am privileged to now work for Prospect Hospice, and feel a greater responsibility to ensure we can continue to provide support to as many people as possible in the future. This wouldn't be possible without fundraising which has been especially difficult in the last year because of Covid-19, so I thought I should go as big as I could, and secured a place through the hospice to run the London Marathon this year!! 

This is a huge challenge for me, I have never been a distance runner, never more than 3 miles, so I have committed to a 6 month training program to make sure I give myself the best chance of getting over the finish line.
