Story

Hi :) Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Many of you already know my story so I shan't bore you with it again here.. ;) However, for those of you that don't, my Father was involved in a serious road accident on January 11th 2014, which appears to have been caused by "careless driving". He suffered catastrophic injuries as he was a pedestrian walking on the pavement on his way home from his allotment. He sustained a severe head injury and nearly 4 years later he continues to remain in a vegetative state. For further information, feel free to visit the heads&hearts page on Facebook.

Brake, among other fantastic charities offer support to families affected by such life-changing events, as well as providing various services to continually educate and spread awareness of the importance of road safety. Find out more at www.brake.org.uk

I am honoured to be fundraising for them (100% of your donation goes directly to them from this page) and will be (hopefully!) collecting sponsorship for the organised abseil event at the Olympic Park, Sunday 25th June 2017.

If we can raise the goal amount of £750, I will also climb back up the tower to go down the new slide! Suggestions for fancy dress/theme welcomed, although ill have to figure out the logistics of any random requests.. ;) Biggest sponsor could always choose the costume for the day! ;)

Many thanks to all or any of you that are kind enough to donate.. be it 50p or £50 - every single penny can help go towards supporting people bereaved or seriously injured on roads.

Thank you for reading.. Its a matter close to my heart. xx
