Walk 100 miles · 7 January 2021

Thank you for supporting the first UK wide Blue Light Get Active Challenge, a month long campaign to inspire all emergency services across the UK to get active physically and mentally and raise vital funds to support thousands of people each year!

Story

Between 18th January and 14th February I am aiming to walk a total of 75 miles to get fit and raise money . Dedicated to protecting those who protect us.Were asking every member and supporter of every force across the UK to join our Get Active Challenge this January, to get moving, feel better and help support the national Police charity who do so much for us.Were here for every frontline police officer, and their families, providing National support at local level that no one else offers to brighten and rebuild lives after injury or death on duty. We are the charity for serving and veteran police officers and staff, volunteers, and their families who have suffered any physical or psychological harm as a result of policing. We are independent of the police service, and are funded entirely by donations and fundraising - we receive no money from government or forces for our work.1 in 5 serving police are living with either Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) or Complex PTSD, anxiety disorders triggered by traumatic events.
