Story
From midday on Saturday 27 June to midday on Sunday 28 June I’ve signed up to run as many 8kms as I can in 24 hours. I’d like Myeloma UK to benefit from my exertions!
Following a torn meniscus in June last year I had to stop running. I had knee surgery in November and only started running again in February. I’ve got my running mojo back and really hope I can do 16kms on Saturday and 16kms on Sunday.
Myeloma Awareness Week is 21 to 27 June, Myeloma UK don’t receive any government funding. Instead, they rely on voluntary donations and fundraising activities to support their work.
