Story

Having not been on a bicycle for a number of years I have dusted off my bike, cleaned my Tacx rollers and found some cycle shorts. Why? Well I’m keen to help this charity not only because I was a premature baby myself, but I needed a new challenge for 2023, so what better way than to try and cycle 100 miles on an indoor bike in one go (bar a few comfort stops!).

New Life is always finding ways of raising funds to help sick and premature babies. The donations we receive really make a huge difference and over the years we have managed to help so many tiny lives.

About the charity

New Life is a registered charity that is dedicated to raising money for special care baby units across the UK. The Charity was launched by Trevor Goodall in 1995 in memory of his sons who were born 3 months premature. Sadly they both died after a week but their struggle inspired Trevor to make a difference. In 2021 the Charity reached the amazing £1Million in donations which has helped so many sick and premature babies and their families.
