Running the Great North Run to raise money for Mind

Great North Run 2022 · 11 September 2022 ·
I run for my physical and mental health. That's why I have chosen to run the Great North Run to raise money for Mind. We need to ensure they have enough funding to provide support to those in need.
Approximately 17 million people in the UK will experience a mental health problem each year.
Over 8 million are experiencing an anxiety disorder at any one time.
Women are twice as likely to experience depression than men.
Over 700,000 people take their own life each year – that’s one person every 40 seconds.
Mind provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. They campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.
Please think about making a donation to Mind. You don’t know when it might be your family member or friend who need their help. One day, it might even be you!
