Story

I am taking on this challenge in memory of my son, Chris who was supported throughout his battle with bowel cancer both as an outpatient and, in his final days, as an inpatient.  They provided invaluable support, not only to Chris, but to us as a family as well.

#TeamMartlets will be spending 5 days trekking 115km through northern Spain as together we take on the legendary Camino de Santiago (Way of St James).About MartletsOver the past 25 years, Martlets has supported more than 25,000 people affected by terminal illness. Our dedicated end-of-life care services offer hope, purpose, and possibility, helping people live their lives to the full in the time they have left.At Martlets, we believe that everyone deserves compassion and dignity in death, and we work tirelessly to provide care, comfort, and choice at home and in our hospice. Were available 24/7 to provide specialist support and advice, and were here to help family and loved ones too. Every year, Martlets supports more than 3,000 local people affected by terminal illness.
