Schnauzerfest is committed to paying for sight-restoring treatments for rescue schnauzers whenever it is possible to do so. This specialist treatment is costly and Schnauzerfest Grants make it available to dogs both pre and post adoption.

Story

Susie-Belle was saved from a puppy farm after 8 long years of suffering. She required months of vet care and had her sight restored by the rescue which took her in and where she first experienced what it is to be loved. The cost for her surgery ran into several thousands of pounds. Schnauzerfest is a charity dedicated to supporting rescue work and especially helping dogs saved from puppy farms, as Susie-Belle was. Schnauzerfest fundraising has paid for life transforming, sight-restoring surgery for many dogs. When dogs are saved from puppy farms, they face many hurdles to adjusting to their new lives. Restoring their sight removes a major hurdle. It is what this fundraiser is dedicated to supporting and every donation made, will go towards paying for this specialist treatment for rescue dogs.
