My friends mum, Jennie Thornhill, had Lupus throughout most of her life. She was diagnosed when she was only 19 and sadly passed in April this year.

She was always a happy, humourous and loving woman. Dearly loved and fondly thought of by many many people.

She was also a very strong person. She never complained of her condition no matter how hard it became at times. She would always put a smile on your face as soon as you walked into the room, and there would always be a silver lining to every cloud in anyone's life.

This event is in memory of her, and to also raise money and awareness of the condition.
