Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My sister Sarah, 37 was involved in a trampoline accident in April of this year. She has broke her neck at C5/6 and is likely to be in a wheelchair for the rest of her life.
Sarah was initially in the Walton Centre in Liverpool were she had an emergency operation to put metal work in her neck to stabilise her injury and spent some time on Intensive Care. She has since moved to a specialist spinal unit at Southport Hospital were she is receiving intense physio in the hope that we can get movement back in her arms.
Sarah's injuries are life chaginging and rehabilitation is going to be a long process, possibly taking more than a year.
When Sarah comes out of hospital she will need care in her home and be unable to work for quite sometime.
I would like to raise money to help support Sarah and her family in the struggle ahead.
Any donations will help towards equipment and adaptations needed to the house and just generally trying to make things as easy as possible in this extremely unfortunate situation our family find ourselves in.
We are eternally grateful for all of the support, fundraisers and donations, this will make a big difference.
Sarah's life will never be the same but with all this love and support we will keep her smiling through her toughest life challenge yet.
