Story

Last December, our friend and colleague Sarah Douglas died following a ten month battle with cancer. Sarah worked at UCLU between 1988 and 2006 and dedicated her time here to improving the welfare of UCL students in so many different ways. She was an inspiring and caring person, who is greatly missed by many, many people.

After asking her family how best we might remember her, we have created the Sarah Douglas Hardship Fund to help UCL students overcome temporary hardship problems during their studies.

If you would like to donate to the Fund, please use this page. All donations will directly support UCL students, as all administrative costs will be covered by UCLU.

Thank you for taking time to read about Sarah and the Fund set up in her memory.

If you'd like to know more about the work of the Fund, please contact Mary Nri at m.nri@ucl.ac.uk
