Royal Parks Half Marathon 2019
Campaign by NSPCC (RCN 216401 and SC037717)
Run this stunning autumnal route through four of Londons Royal Parks, and take in some of the best views the capital has to offer. This scenic run is great for first time runners.

Story

It's 'double the distance' (and a little bit more) time again!  Please support me and keep me going through my training as I pound the pavements and clock up the miles to run 13 miles through London's beautiful Royal Parks in Autumn.

A race wouldn't be a race without raising money for a very good cause.  My eldest son, Billy, chose the charity for me.  This makes it all the more poignant, as he knows there are many children who have not had the safe and happy childhood he has been lucky enough to have.  I'll be running the race for him, my other son Joshua, and all the other children who haven't been as lucky, who the NSPCC strive to protect from neglect and abuse.

Every little bit helps:

  • £4 could answer a child's call to Childline - offering them support and advice
  • £25 could pay for a trained practitioner for an hour supporting parents in caring for their children

Thank you.
