Sarah's Yoga for Breath

Sarah Crossan is raising money for Action For Pulmonary Fibrosis
In memory of Nancy Crossan
Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis (APF) is a national charity that supports everyone affected by pulmonary fibrosis through information and support, raises awareness of this devastating lung condition, and funds vital research to improve treatment, find a cure, and bring hope for the future.

Story

As many of you know, my beautiful mother Nancy Crossan died earlier this year of IPF — idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis— at only 69 years old. For several years she suffered silently and in the final two years found every day tasks difficult, often painful. I miss her immeasurably. But I am grateful for the breath in my own lungs and have committed to engage in a 30 day practice of yoga for breath during the month of September in memory of my mother. I would very much like to raise money to help those living with IPF and other life limiting lung conditions. Please help me to support the work of APF by donating whatever you can and if you fancy joining me for the 30 days of yoga, I’ll be using YouTube’s infamous Adriene as my guide

Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis (APF) is a growing community of patients, families, researchers and healthcare professionals striving to find a cure for pulmonary fibrosis so that everyone affected by the disease has a better future. We provide personalised support to patient and families - and raise awareness of pulmonary fibrosis through campaigning, fundraising and education. We are also committed to funding research to improve the quality of life for people living with pulmonary fibrosis today and tomorrow.
