About the charity
Orangutan Appeal UK is a registered charity dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and release of orphaned, displaced and ex-captive orangutans. We strive to protect remaining populations of wild orangutans and their habitat by raising awareness and providing funding for projects across Borneo.
