Chicago Public Library Foundation Associate Board members are coming together to raise $5,000 to support critical library programming for all that transforms lives at Chicago Public Library.

Story

Chicago Public Library services are critical to helping individuals heal from the challenges of 2020. From creating new programs to adapting existing models to meet patrons evolving needs, librarians and staff are working to reach Chicagoans wherever we are--at home, online, or in the branches with the resources needed to rebuild and renew our lives. Join me in supporting Chicago Public Library with a gift of any amount that will make critical life resources available to everyone.

So far CPL has given out 1 million meals to Chicagoans and has distributed more than 50,000 grab and go kits for children and teens to stay active, engaged, and learn from the safety of their homes. CPL doubled the number of hotspots offered through the library's Internet to Go initiative, enabling Chicagoans to bring wi-fi hostpsots home for as long as two months.

From mental health check-ins to virtual workshops the Library is a haven for Chicago's youth.
