Story

I am not a runner!  And I won't be running this, but I am helping organise it, so it seems only fair that I participate in some capacity.  So I hereby pledge to complete a 10-mile WALK at some point between 17th July and 3rd August 2020, and I would greatly appreciate it if you would throw a few pennies in the pot to encourage me along the way :)

Clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene should be a normal part of everyones daily life. Without all three, people cant live dignified, healthy lives. With all three, they can unlock their potential, break free from poverty and change their lives for good. With clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene, children are born healthier. They get the chance to go to school and grow up to become adults. Women and men get to earn a living. Whole communities start to thrive. It sounds normal and it should be.The Ricky Road Run 2020, organised by Affinity Water, is now in its 37th year and for the first time it is being run virtually! As always the event supports the great work that WaterAid does around the world.
