My cousin’s amazing daughter Lily ( see pic!) was born with a complex Congenital Heart Defect. From a tiny baby in the womb to her three year old self she has had several complex operations, is in and out of hospital and is been constantly monitored,  ‘poked and prodded’. She has made and is making extraordinary progress, an absolute little warrior doing all the things other children love to do! This is thanks to the amazing NHS, Lily’s amazing Mum, Katie and family and the amazing work of charities like the Children’s Heart Federation.

Lily’s condition is ongoing and support for children with heart conditions and their families can make all the difference on their long and complicated heart journey. It would be wonderful if you can sponsor me to run the Derby Half Marathon to raise money in support of these extraordinary children and their families.
