Every year I do something that raises money for a cancer charity, and I have chosen highland hospice This year I want to show my support for those that don’t have a choice in losing their hair when faced with the biggest battle of their lives. Hair represents an invincibility cloak, your comfort blanket, your identity… imagine not having that when you are at your most vulnerable. I watched with awe when my close friend started treatment and within weeks lost the lot. She did it with such bravery and always a smile and even a joke about it. So inspiring! 

I’m going to shave my head at an event at Primark on the evening off 7th October 2022 and any donation would be gratefully received on behalf a fantastic charity.
