Sarah's 11 year old nephew has recently been diagnosed with Burkitt Lymphoma - one of the most aggressive cancers out there!  He had it in his adenoids and it had spread to his stomach.  He had to have an orange sized tumour removed from his small intestine!  This news has devastated Sarah's family.  Yet the support and care he has received from Bristol Children's ward has been amazing.  The Grand Appeal have massively helped in their support and care of her nephew.  He is on a very tough journey, yet is fighting back and doing well.  

Sarah has felt pretty helpless in the whole process, as she is not allowed to see him due to risk of infection.  But being able to do a sponsored hike has not only felt like we are doing something to support her nephew, but also help support families and children who will also fight this battle. 

We have never done anything like this before - so we will be training hard ready for this challenge! 

With this challenge, the money raised will partly go towards the cost of the trip and the rest will go to the Grand Appeal Charity.  £550 per person will go towards the cost of the trip.
