Story

As most of you will know, this is a topic very close to my heart. My Auntie Jan sadly passed away in April 2011 from a very sudden and severe aneurysm. Jan was on life support for 4 days and the care she receive at the Walton center was exceptional. Understandably, my family and I didn't want to leave her side and spent as much time as possible at the hospital, resting when we could, usually on uncomfortable chairs in the waiting room.

The Home from Home appeal aims to raise £500k  over the next two years to build 8 en-suite bedrooms for relatives who want to stay near their loved ones who are undergoing treatment at such difficult and often tragic times at the Walton Neurological Centre .

Any of you who were lucky enough to know my auntie will know she had the biggest heart and was always helping others in need. I would really appreciate it if you could spare a few pounds in helping us to support the  Walton Neuroscience fund in enabling them to expand in groundbreaking research & improvement in care for patients and their families.

Thank you

Sarah
