I am participating in the Junior League of London's Little Black Dress Initiative 2021 Campaign because a staggering 28% of Londoners live below the poverty line. For the duration of the campaign week, I will be wearing the same black outfit for five consecutive days to illustrate the effects poverty can have on an individual's access to resources, confidence and professional opportunities. I am raising funds to support the Junior League of London and its community partners who are working tirelessly to combat the effects of poverty in London. The Little Black Dress Initiative is an annual, week-long advocacy event organized by the Junior League of London. Since its inception in 2014, the Initiative has raised over £155,000.Please support me in my fundraising efforts!
