Memory Walk
Campaign by Alzheimer's Society (RCN 296645)
This year over 110,000 people walk united, against dementia. We aim, with your help to raise over £9 million to help anyone affected by dementia.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am doing this walk for my nan, she has had dementia for about 9 Years and now she is battling stage 1 of Alzheimer's. My nan was always an independent woman who wouldn't say boo to a goose and would do anything to please anyone, now she is already a shell of the woman she was! It absolutely breaks my heart to see her like it and to think she will get worse and forget everything kills me.

This walk is mainly for her but I'm doing it for everyone, I would love to see a cure to this awful and cruel disease one day, I know it wouldn't be in my nans life, but I would love to see it happen in someone's life x

I LOVE YOU NAN, THIS IS FOR YOU! xxxx
