Story

As we reached a milestone birthday, my lifelong friend, Dawn Cansfield and myself decided to set ourselves a challenge - a marathon length walk! On Saturday 22 September 2018 we will be walking the streets of London for a 26.2 miles.  We have trained hard (well a bit), followed a strict diet (lots of cake) and have every confidence that we will complete our challenge.  After being asked if we could be sponsored we have decided to try and raise a bit of money for a local charity to try and make our pain more worthwhile.

The charity we are supporting is Chestnut Tree House, a local hospice that supports children who have life-limiting illnesses.  Midhurst Rother College recently did a whole College walk for the charity as one of their families had been supported by them and as both of us went to the predecessor school, Midhurst Grammar School and I work and Midhurst Rother College we felt it would be fitting to support the same charity.
