We help stroke survivors to find strength through support.

Story

As you may know, my Grandma had a major stroke last August.  She spent several weeks in hospital, unable to move or speak, which anyone who knew her would agree was especially cruel given how active, independent and talkative she was.  She passed away in September 2009.

I am going to run the Great North Run this September to raise awareness of the dreadful impact of strokes, to say thank you to the Stroke Association for their invaluable advice and support while my Grandma was ill, and to pay tribute to her and other family members.

I would be very grateful for your support.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
