I ran the Great Midlands Fun run without stopping in 1 hour 36 minutes!  I can accept sponsor money online and in person for up to 3 months after the event, so thank you for every penny. Im sure lots of families will benefit from the money raised for the Childrens Hospital and for Cancer Research.

My Story...

Im raising money for two charities close to my heart after a life changing 2010. Firstly the loss of my lovely Mother in law, Carol Thorp at the start of June who lost her life to cancer and then my beautiful daughter, Amy who sufferred a hot water burn injury 3 weeks later while on holiday and spent nearly 2 weeks in hospital having skin grafts to repair the damage.

Almost one year on my gorgeous daughter is recovering well and has a few small scars from her injuries thanks to the amazing work the specialists gave her last year.

I am running 8.5 miles ( approx 13 K ) on 5th June, I have never run before and it will be a personal challenge.

Even £1 from anyone that would be so kind to donate is £1 the charity did not have before, so my run will be worthwhile, however much I raise.

Im splitting money raised between Birmingham Childrens hospital and Cancer Research, but this page is for the hospital, so any online donations made, Ill make sure I send equal amount of paper sponsor form donations to cancer research too.

So a thank you for Amy's treatment and to help other children get better and in memory of my amazing Mother in law who I miss dearly, this one's for you!!

To donate anything at all it is so simple, takes less than a couple of minutes and you don't even have to register or set up any accounts.
