Story
The Little Princess Trust: When a child loses their hair to cancer or another condition, we'll be there with a free, real hair wig to help restore their confidence and identity. We won't stop until the research that we fund ends childhood cancer forever. Promise. Please visit us at www.littleprincesses.org.uk to find out how you can help us give young people back what cancer takes away. The Trust relies solely on the efforts of enthusiastic community fundraisers. We receive no formal funding. Please help to raise money for us so that we can help more families.
About me: I have never had long hair, always found it difficult to grow, hard to manage, but I have always had my hair. Its unusual colour has always attracted very positive comments and, after watching family members and friends go through the challenge of hair loss, I realised this was the least I could do to help someone struggling to feel like themselves at a very difficult time.
So I have grown my hair over the past two years, and have made the appointment for the big cut. Each wig costs the charity £550 to make, and whilst I am donating my hair, I am asking for your support to help me raise the funds so this incredible charity can make a child smile again.
Thank you for any support you can offer: every penny counts! And remember to GiftAid it if you are an eligible UK tax payer.
Thank you, everyone, pics will follow!
