As some of you know, I ran a very small distance of 10K last year with my best chum Kelly. I had never run any further than to the off licance or to the corner shop to buy ciggertes, so after reaching the 3k point and already feeling ready to give up, the support from my friend really helped and together we achived it. Did I run after the event? No way Id done my bit.....However 8 months down the line I have been thinking about points in life and how one person or one event can change your entire life. When I was 18 I was accepted to be taken in by a homless charity and was given a home and a support worker to help me become a good member of sociaty.Not only did my support worker keep me on the straight and narrow she helped me build my courage and give me the strengh to become the person I am to day. I now work with young homless people doing what my support worker did for me all those years ago.And I fell very lucky to be able to do this. Shelter is a worthy cause not just helping young people but familys and people from all diffrent back grounds.Anyone  can find themselfs in situations that wasnt planned so anybody could end up needing the support from a charity like shelter. And thats why I am choosing to somehow run an incredible 26.5 miles in next years london marathen....Mad I must be but if it wasnt for the people that helped me all those years ago I properbly wouldnt even be alive today so really its the least I can do to give something back and say thank you.

However I need your help to raise enough money to be able to do it. Today Im a mother of two working for a chairty on a low wage so fundraising and gaining your support is my only way to be able to do it.You can give small or big amounts or a small amount on a weekly basis, It all adds up and every penny counts so please dig deep and spread the word if you know any ideas of gaining sponsership or any one willing to give a couple of pounds please pass on my justgiving page.
