Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Wife to David, mother to Sara and John, nan-nan to George, Jenna, Thomas, Connor, Jack, Grace and Sam. Sister to Tim and Dave.

30 years ago Margaret became ill with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia and as we all know she won her battle against this cruel disease. She never let it defeat her and we will forever be in awe of her ability to shine through and see the bright side. Her ability to start each day as a new day and live life to the fullest was inspiring.

Margaret’s health declined over the last few years and she sadly passed away on the 2nd October but not without a fight! Having been told in March that she would not make beyond another 2 months she defied Mother Nature for another 5 months which is testament to her stoicism and desire to enjoy life.

Any donation big or small will go towards vital research to beat blood cancers and we, her family would like to thank you very much.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
