Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am honoured and proud to be taking part in Strictly
Christmas 2021 in aid of Zoe’s Place. I am absolutely ridiculously excited to be putting on my dancing shoes, getting glammed up with more than a little bit of sparkle, and learning a new skill, all in aid of raising money for this amazing charity. And for those that know me, you will know my dancing skills are minimal so this could be interesting!

Zoë's Place provides 24-hour palliative, respite and end-of-life care to infants aged 0-5 years with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions. They provide short-term regular care with their dedicated nursing staff, in a home from home environment to give parents and carers a well-deserved break.

Losing my mum to cancer in 2011, and knowing what support we both got from the hospice where she was lucky enough to be cared for. I feel this is right to help and support Zoe’s Place. My Mum was a huge Strictly Come Dancing fan and we would always watch together - I felt that this is a great opportunity for me to raise money for a charity that I feel passionately about! I hope mum will be proudly watching and giggling at my dance skills!

I do hope that you will all follow my progress through my social media campaign and fundraising activities.

Thank you for your support! Keep dancing…
