I have been involved with IJM for a few years now through church and love the work they are doing to tackle modern slavery.

I decided to ride from London to Paris for as I love cycling, and wanted a challenging goal but one I felt would be achievable. I also wanted to do something for me (!) whilst raising money and awareness for a great cause. Many of you know that my marriage ended last year, and that it's a been a tough road recovering from that. I survived thanks to family, friends and God - so this ride is also a celebration of life and a decision to look to the future rather than the past and enjoy every moment.
