Story

As very sporty individuals we thrive for a challenge and to do valuable  and rewarding activities that are for a good cause. We were introduced to the Jewish Blind and Disabled (JBD) at an event organised by the YJBD where we were both touched by the stories told and the incredible work done by JBD. Like Adam and I, the young people we will be helping to raise money for are similar ages and we want to ensure whatever we can raise will help contribute to a better way of life for them.

Our main event we will be competing in the HSBC Triathlon & Duathlon on September 14 at Dorney Lake. Adam will be competing in the Triathlon, taking on a 1,500m swim followed by 42.4km bike ride and 10km run, and I will be competing in the Duathlon starting with a 5km run, followed by 21.2km bike ride and 2.5km run. In preparation, we will both be competing in a mixture of bike rides and runs. We will keep you posted on forthcoming bike rides and runs we will be competing in over the next few months - watch this space!

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. Please donate as a little or as much as you wish for a really valuable cause.

Many thanks,

Sara and Adam
