In April 2015 it was only a matter of hours between our little friend Alex being a perfectly healthy, bubbly, gorgeous little chap to falling so severely ill with meningococcal septicaemia that his life could not be saved. 

We will always love him. We will always have a very special place in our hearts for him. 

I am supporting MRF to keep Alex's memory alive. 

I am going to do the Great North Run in September in 2015 in support of the Meningitis Research Foundation. MRF conducts life-saving research to combat the different causes of meningitis and septicaemia.
